About

Empowered Postpartum is on a mission to ensure all new families have access to support and resources.

Our Mission

Empowered Postpartum is a peer-led, 501c3 non profit organization whose mission is to empower birthing people and families by providing support, information and resources to cope with challenges associated with the postpartum experience.

Our Vision

We are committed to helping new moms and families in Southern California establish connections to peer-support, resources and tools needed to recognize, treat and overcome challenges during the postpartum experience.

We are dedicated to serving birthing people and families of all backgrounds and parenting styles by ensuring in-person and/or virtual support is low-cost and accessible.

We are in collaboration with local providers and organizations to strengthen family support networks in order to ensure moms and families are screened, treated and referred throughout pregnancy and up to three years postpartum.

Our Core Values

AccessibilityWe will always strive to make our programs and offerings accessible to all families regardless of age, gender identification, race, ethnicity, religious or financial background, birthing preference and parenting style

Non-judgmental supportWe will listen more than we speak as there is no one “right” way to parent.

Community – We will seek partnerships with other existing agencies and providers in the area to better inform our offerings.
